Launch of our new IH Porto website
We are very pleased to announce the launch of our new
IH Porto website, which also links to all other IH schools in Portugal and
the International House World Organisation.
To celebrate the launch we are very pleased to
showcase the work of David Meggit a freelance photographer whose commissioned work for IH Porto provides the
images on this site, the full gallery of which you may see in Images (top menu). These pictures of Porto
are a delight, capturing so well Porto old and
new, the very faces and atmospheres that make this city so fascinating. If you

IH Porto is to become a closed Centre for The
University of Cambridge ESOL exams
This major development is a very significant piece of news
for all our students.
It
now means that IH Porto will handle all aspects of registration,
administration of tests and distribution of results
for any of our students who wish to take PET, FCE,
CAE or CPE.
We
believe that in the future we will be able to offer more
options of choice and value for money, particularly with
regard to test dates.
Furthermore,
we hope to be one of the first Cambridge Connect
Centres in Portugal
where students will be able
to do the main suite examinations on-line. This will result
in a much faster turn around of time between taking
a test and getting the results, a very important consideration
for students at or about to go to University.
